I have a Asetek AIO liquid cooler, and it has a tricolor LED, the software to control the color of the LED is Chill Control V. It works all the coolers Asetek makes for Corsair, Antec, AMD etc.as far as i can tell. The Color of the LED is controlled by setting a value Between 0 and 255 for the R, B, G, LED colors. I want to write a program that makes the LED change color randomly or based on processor load / temperature but i need a way to modify the colors values There is no API or Source Code available as far as i can tell. So I was thinking about trying to use a memory scanner to modify the memory addresses values but I am not sure how well that will work and I haven't written a program that modifies memory addresses before. So I'm looking to be told that i can't do this or any better suggestions or how to do it.

I also worry that the memory addresses would change frequently Update: So I have run a memory scanner and the Numbers are stored as 4 byte binary. Changing the binary data changes the color of the led but the problem is that every time the program reloads it stores the values at different locations. I dont know where to go from here? PS If I'm way off base with any of this please let me know, or if its not clear what I am trying to do. I can post screen caps of the program if it is unclear how the application works. I would love to upload and share the finished application.

In case anyone is wondering this is my exact cooler: Thanks in advance Also Should this be in Hacking or Code. Artificial intelligence by janakiraman ebook.
