I am looking for a Firmware Upgrade for Olevia 537 LCD. Company is out of business, and I am having trouble - Syntax Olevia 537H Television question. If you download, try to make a copy of the existing firmware first, so you can re-install it if things go south. Also, some folks on that forum (and probably other forums as well. Ok i am just checking. The only way to get this update is to register your tv with olevia and the you can download the update. Make sure you follow the instructions very close or it can damage your tv. You can get the link below to get to their site.

Quote from SoccerHooligan: Hey all, Recently bought an Olevia 232V tv and I love it. However, to free up the component connectors I wanted to connect my Xbox Elite through the HDMI port. After trying for about an hour or two and another two hours with customer service (both Olevia and MS) I cant get it to work.

When its plugged into HDMI and I try to switch source to HDMI to view it all it comes up with is 'invalid resolution'. Can anyone help? Thanks, any advice is greatly appreciated. Reset Have you checked resolution setting on xbox? Try setting it to 720p. I just bought the same TV and have the exact same problem, the HDMI port just doesn't work with the xbox360. Component works fine though.

I'd assume theres just some compatibility issue with the 360s and it, I tried using a premium 360 with an hdmi that a friend had and his wouldn't work either. This was with the elite's included hdmi cable, I don't think that would matter though. 480p 720p 1080i made no difference setting on the elite.

I haven't tried updating the firmware, but I haven't gotten around to registering on the olevia site to see if there are any firmware updates anyway. Aside from using it with the 360, has anyone tried using the HDMI port with any other device with any luck? I've got nothing to test it with as of yet. Quote from wudang: Hi everyone, I just called Olevia tech support today and to my surprise the technician knew right away what I was talking about and provided me with an updated firmware. I was skeptical at first since there are people here who downloaded firmwares and said it didn't work. So when I went home and tried it, it installed fine and low and behold, it WORKS!! I would suggest anyone who would want this fix to contact Olevia tech support for a copy of this firmware.

Olevia

Version is A34-19L_232.

Musicluver1384, If you look at the sticker on the back of the TV it will have the model number of your TV. I believe the format should be ###-LETTER##. Mine is, for example, 332-B11. I have searched the universe, and can't find it - does anyone have the latest firmware and updater for the 332-B11? I have owned my TV for years and years, but never tried to use HDMI. The port won't recognize any device, any cable, etc. I assume it's a firmware issue.

If not, I may need a new board. Anyone have any suggestions on what I might do? While I'm at it, anyone know where to find universal remote codes for this TV? Harmony remote codes?

I'd like to echo the request for a firmware bin if anyone has it saved on their system. Enox tv software update 2017. MDB1_AQ_242T_L_22A or maybe this one. MDB1_AQ_242T_L_21B I know it's an older model and the company went broke, but I have a 242T that I bought on CL for cheap that works great except for I can't get anything to connect via HDMI. I've read other places that a firmware upgrade fixed this for some, but (just like everyone else) I can't find a newer firmware. So, if anyone happens to have a firmware newer than my current firmware (MDB1_AQ_242T_L_11) I would love to give it a shot.
